Full Idea

Suppose that we place certain values in things, then these values have an effect back upon us, once we have forgotten that we were the givers.

Gist of Idea

When we are affected by values, we have forgotten that we created them

A Reaction

This seems to be a problem in the whole of human culture - that we reify and objectify all sorts of things which we created. New generations have entirely lost touch with the creative acts. Fractions, for example.
